About the Role

Contribute to building and maintaining Docusign's cutting-edge Extensibility Platform, empowering developers to seamlessly integrate and extend Docusign's features and applications through custom APIs. Implement reliable, scalable, and secure features for the ecosystem, collaborating with experienced engineers and cross-functional teams on platform architecture and feature development. Participate in code reviews, architectural discussions, and incident response processes. This is an individual contributor role reporting to the Sr. Manager, Engineering.

Responsibilities

  • Write high quality code and services that are easy to maintain and test
  • Participate actively in the design and architecture of features
  • Work with Project Management and other developers to understand design requirements and provide development estimates
  • Work as part of an agile development team to deliver engaging web user experiences
  • Research new features and technologies
  • Apply strong analytical skills to investigate and update unfamiliar code

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or other related engineering field, or comparable industry experience within a software organization
  • Experience working with JavaScript, Node.js, C#, Go, Java or other modern programming languages
  • Object oriented programming experience
  • Experience working on software projects

Salary/Compensations

  • California: $104,900.00 - $161,975.00 base salary
  • Washington, Maryland, New Jersey and New York (including NYC metro area): $99,000.00 - $144,200.00 base salary
  • Bonus: Non-Sales roles are eligible for a company bonus plan, calculated as a percentage of eligible wages and dependent on company performance
  • Stock: Eligible to receive Restricted Stock Units (RSUs)
