About the Role
Lead discrete workstreams and deliver advanced AI and data solutions. This role combines technical depth, client engagement, and mentorship of junior team members while driving real-world AI adoption.
Responsibilities
- Design and implement scalable AI and data solutions from requirements to deployment
- Develop, test, and tune fraud and FinCrime prevention and detection rules in various programming languages
- Develop and optimize machine learning models and analytics workflows
- Lead data engineering efforts, including ETL pipelines and cloud data architectures
- Partner with clients to identify AI use cases and translate business needs into solutions
- Own client deliverables and contribute to executive-level presentations
- Mentor C2 consultants and review technical work
- Ensure solutions align with governance, security, and responsible AI standards
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree from an accredited college/university
- Candidate must be located within the United States and be a US Citizen
- Ability to obtain and maintain a Federal or DoD "PUBLIC TRUST" clearance
- 4+ years of experience in AI, data science, analytics, or engineering
- Strong development expertise in Python/R, SQL, and data modeling
- Proficiency with various data structure formats (CSV/TXT, JSON, XML, Parquet, etc.)
- Hands-on experience developing, testing, and validating machine learning and other AI models at scale
- Cloud experience (AWS, Azure, GCP) including data and ML services
- Experience with data visualization tools (PowerBI, Tableau, Looker, etc.)
- Proven ability to communicate complex concepts to non-technical audiences
- Master’s degree preferred
- Experience applying data analytics and artificial intelligence in financial crime compliance and/or fraud, waste, and abuse prevention
- Preference for candidates located in the DMV area
- Travel of 25-50% for candidates not located in the DMV
- Experience building fraud and/or fincrime monitoring rules in one or more programming languages (Nice to Have)
- Experience deploying models into production (MLOps) (Nice to Have)
- Experience with AI platforms (Databricks, Palantir, Vertex AI, SageMaker) (Nice to Have)
- Prior consulting or client-facing delivery experience (Nice to Have)
- Hands-on experience with financial crime compliance technology and data solutions (e.g., Oracle Mantas, Actimize, Fircosoft, LexisNexis Bridger, World-Check, Dow Jones, Chainalysis, Elliptic, TRM Labs) (Nice to Have)
- Federal Agency experience (Nice to Have)
- LexisNexis product API integration experience (Nice to Have)
