About the Role

The Vice President of Investor Relations will manage relationships with existing and prospective investors and execute the firm’s capital strategy across student housing and multifamily platforms. This role involves strategic capital initiatives, including new fund formation and programmatic partnerships. The Investor Relations team bridges development, finance, and leadership with investors, ensuring clear communication of project performance, pipeline activity, and strategic direction. The Vice President will play a key role in shaping the firm’s investor narrative, supporting capital raising efforts, and ensuring a high level of service and transparency across all investor interactions.

Responsibilities

  • Assist with investor communications on project performance, development progress, and portfolio strategy.
  • Respond to investor inquiries and coordinate due diligence requests with internal teams.
  • Maintain visibility into investor feedback, sentiment, and areas of focus across the portfolio.
  • Support capital raising initiatives for investment vehicles, joint ventures, and partnerships.
  • Partner with senior leadership to position investment opportunities and communicate strategy to prospective investors.
  • Track investor engagement and support pipeline development during fundraising cycles.
  • Assist in coordinating investor meetings and presentations for capital formation.
  • Oversee the development of investor-facing materials, including presentations, offering materials, and reporting packages.
  • Ensure messaging is clear, consistent, and aligned with the firm’s strategy and brand.
  • Translate complex development, financial, and operational information into concise investor communications.
  • Partner with internal teams to analyze investment performance, development timelines, and portfolio results for investor reporting.
  • Support due diligence processes by coordinating internal data and ensuring accurate, timely material delivery.
  • Monitor market trends, investor preferences, and competitive positioning in student housing and multifamily sectors.
  • Collaborate with development, acquisitions, asset management, and finance teams to gather and validate information for investor communications.
  • Coordinate across teams for alignment on messaging, timelines, and deliverables for investor reporting and capital initiatives.
  • Support senior leadership in preparing for investor meetings, presentations, and strategic discussions.
  • Provide guidance and oversight to junior team members in investor relations and reporting.
  • Help establish processes and best practices for investor communications, reporting, and data management.
  • Contribute to a collaborative, high-performance team environment focused on responsiveness and quality.

Requirements

  • Experience in real estate fundraising or a closely related field.
  • Understanding and application of underwriting and investment concepts.
  • Advanced financial and analytical skills.
  • Advanced knowledge of Microsoft PowerPoint.
  • Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Word.
  • Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Excel.
  • Bachelor’s degree focus in Business, Real Estate, Finance, or other relevant subject matter preferred.
