About the Role
Lead Investment Analytics, overseeing strategic, technical, and personnel aspects. Responsible for analyzing revenue and investment data, defining the analytics agenda, and acting as a strategic business partner. Manage a team, drive analytical value, and ensure performance steering, revenue optimization, governance, and scalable analytical solutions.
Responsibilities
- Manage revenue and investment analyses, including target definition, control logic, and company-wide performance tracking.
- Derive strategic measures for revenue, margin, and profitability optimization at company, client, and product levels.
- Develop and evaluate business cases, scenario analyses, forecasts, and investment decisions.
- Responsible for pricing, margin, and efficiency logic, and economic evaluation of new business, product, and monetization models.
- Act as a sparring partner for strategic growth, transformation, and investment decisions.
- Define the overarching analytics and performance tracking strategy.
- Own control-relevant KPIs, management dashboards, and executive reports.
- Ensure consistent KPI definitions, governance structures, and analytical quality standards.
- Translate complex data and business models into clear decision and action templates for executives.
- Manage and prioritize analytics use cases based on business impact and strategic relevance.
- Responsible for advancing the analytics, BI, and reporting landscape.
- Collaborate closely with Product, Data, and Tech Leadership on tool decisions.
- Establish efficient, scalable, and governance-compliant analysis, reporting, and automation processes.
- Define standards, best practices, and guidelines in the analytics environment.
- Ensure regulatory, financial, and procedural compliance.
- Provide disciplinary and technical leadership, development, and scaling of the Analytics team.
- Build high-performing structures, clear role models, and sustainable talent and succession planning.
- Manage cross-divisional and international projects with high management visibility.
- Moderate executive reviews, steering committees, and strategic decision-making formats.
- Serve as a central sparring partner for management, department heads, and international stakeholders.
Requirements
- Successfully completed degree in Business Administration, Controlling, Finance, Business Informatics, Mathematics, or similar field.
- Many years of relevant professional experience in Controlling, Analytics, Revenue Management, or Investment within media, agency, platform environments, or with a marketer.
- Deep understanding of P&L logic, business models, performance steering, and commercial decision-making.
- Very high analytical, strategic, and economic competence.
- Deep understanding of modern BI, analytics, and data architectures (e.g., Power BI, Tableau).
- Several years of leadership experience with disciplinary responsibility.
- Strong executive presence and ability to operate confidently at top management level.
- Strong entrepreneurial thinking with clear results and impact orientation.
- High decision-making ability, assertiveness, and sense of responsibility.
- Ability to confidently manage complex organizations, stakeholder interests, and priorities.
