About the Role
The Senior Commercial Analyst will build and shape next-generation commercial intelligence, focusing on commercial strategy, data, automation, and AI-enabled insights. This high-impact role reports to the Head of Commercial, enhancing PMX's commercial intelligence maturity by designing scalable dashboards, streamlining data flows, and providing clear, trusted insights. The role involves cross-functional collaboration and directly impacts revenue growth and decision-making.
Responsibilities
- Own and evolve PMX’s commercial reporting ecosystem across ANZ, including Power BI and other BI platforms.
- Redesign reporting and data models for an automation-first, AI-enabled environment.
- Integrate multiple commercial, trading, digital, and vendor data sources into scalable, centralized models.
- Reduce manual processing through automation, improved data pipelines, and smarter workflows.
- Maintain and develop commercial dashboards for senior stakeholders.
- Champion data quality, governance, and best-practice modeling standards.
- Generate meaningful commercial insights across media, trading, partnerships, and product performance.
- Identify opportunities for revenue growth, optimization, cost efficiencies, and improved partner value.
- Support GMS with benchmarking, investment diagnostics, and forecasting insights.
- Proactively identify risks and opportunities.
- Partner cross-functionally with Commercial, Finance, GMS, Product, APEX, and Precision teams.
- Translate insights into action by challenging assumptions and elevating commercial conversations.
Requirements
- Experience enhancing, rebuilding, or modernizing reporting and analytics environments.
- Proven ability to generate insights for commercial, trading, digital, or performance teams.
- Strong experience building and owning dashboards end-to-end.
- Confidence working with multiple data sources and complex data sets.
- Exposure to automation, data integration, or AI-supported reporting approaches.
- Strong understanding of commercial metrics and their impact on business outcomes.
- Experience in media, digital, performance, or measurement environments, or closely related industries.
- Excellent attention to detail and a structured, analytical mindset.
- Ability to communicate complex insights clearly to non-technical stakeholders.
- Collaborative, proactive approach and comfort working in evolving environments.
