About the Role
Serve as the central contact for pricing in new client business, ensuring a consistent, viable, and compelling pricing and negotiation strategy for clients and partners. Collaborate closely with internal interfaces and external partners, guiding new clients from the pitch phase to successful onboarding. This is a specialist leadership role without direct personnel responsibility, focusing on driving topics forward.
Responsibilities
- Develop and manage pricing strategies for new business and pitches in digital advertising.
- Calculate and evaluate prices, conditions, and bilateral commitments, considering market, cost, and performance parameters.
- Onboard new clients and account teams, coordinating relevant interfaces.
- Negotiate prices and framework conditions with external partners (publishers, marketers, platforms) and manage bilateral commitments.
- Analyze and structure large data sets to derive pricing and investment recommendations.
- Collaborate closely with internal stakeholders to ensure transparent and sustainable pricing and investment decisions.
- Provide technical guidance to colleagues on pricing and condition models.
Requirements
- Several years of experience in Digital Marketing, Media Buying, Trading, Investment, or a comparable field.
- Strong understanding of pricing logic in digital advertising (e.g., CPM, CPC, CPA, Programmatic, inventory and discount models).
- Strong analytical skills, proficient with numbers and large datasets, excellent Excel skills.
- Strong communication and stakeholder management skills, able to clearly explain complex pricing models internally and externally.
- Negotiation skills and confidence in discussions with partners and clients.
- Experience in interface management and basic project management skills (planning, prioritization, tracking).
- Initial experience in technical leadership or as a go-to person for a specialized topic is a plus.
