About the Role

The Designer is a creative thinker and detail-oriented artisan, driven by pharmaceutical advertising for commercial projects and initiatives for medical professionals and patients. Reporting to the ACD Art, this role involves transforming creative concepts into functional designs, working with minimal supervision, managing multiple tasks under tight deadlines, and solving problems in a dynamic agency environment. Curiosity, attention to detail, and production expertise are essential for delivering exceptional design solutions.

Responsibilities

  • Collaborate with Art Directors and Medical Writers to translate creative concepts into impactful visual designs.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure implementation feasibility and Interaction Design viability.
  • Design effective structures and user journeys based on consistent, extensible conceptual models reflecting user mental models.
  • Identify user needs and analyze client challenges to develop innovative design concepts.
  • Define visual language and create consistent brand experiences across multiple healthcare categories.
  • Work closely with the team to ensure brand consistency and adherence to design principles.
  • Apply strong typography, color theory, and illustration skills to produce visually impactful designs.
  • Creatively solve design problems by finding unique solutions that meet project objectives.
  • Collaborate effectively with interdisciplinary teams and actively participate in brainstorming and design critiques.
  • Stay updated on industry trends and emerging design techniques to continuously enhance skills.
  • Manage multiple projects simultaneously, meet deadlines, and deliver high-quality designs.

Requirements

  • 1 to 3 years of relevant agency experience.
  • Portfolio demonstrating completed design projects, including pharmaceutical advertising.
  • Advanced proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite and Figma.
  • Proven experience as a Visual Designer or Production Designer in an agency.
  • Strong portfolio demonstrating excellent execution, developed design sense, and keen attention to detail.
  • Experience in pharmaceutical advertising.
  • Excellent skills in typography, color theory, and illustration, with a strong aesthetic sense.
  • Solid understanding of design principles, brand consistency, and visual storytelling.
  • Ability to think creatively, solve problems, and deliver high-quality design solutions.
  • Excellent collaboration and communication skills, with the ability to work effectively within a diverse team.
  • Curiosity and a desire for continuous learning and skill improvement.
  • Ability to perform in a fast-paced environment, manage multiple projects, and meet deadlines.
  • Prototyping, motion design, or technical design skills are an asset.
