About the Role
The Analyst assists in the discovery, processing, and visualization of insights using Publicis’ proprietary data solutions. Under senior guidance, this role bridges raw data and actionable information for creative, CX, and commerce teams. The position focuses on implementing data-driven projects, translating data into clear summaries for creative ideas and commercial decisions, especially for large-scale ecommerce organizations with complex customer journeys. This role is part of EDGE’s central Analytics and AI capability, utilizing shared, reusable solutions across Publicis clients and gaining exposure to diverse agency environments.
Responsibilities
- Assist in discovering insights using EDGE’s proprietary data platforms and advanced analytics toolkits under senior guidance.
- Assist with multi-source data analysis to uncover behavioral and cultural trends for brand and commerce strategies.
- Prepare data visualizations and reporting assets to clearly present insights to internal teams, learning to create cohesive narratives from data points.
- Maintain data integrity and accuracy across reports for informed decisions on creative effectiveness and CX outcomes.
- Collaborate with the team to ensure timely delivery of routine reports and ad-hoc data requests.
Requirements
- Advertising agency experience preferred.
- Proven experience in data analysis, market research, or digital media (internship experience highly valued).
- Strong passion for analytics.
- Foundational knowledge of cleaning, structuring, and interpreting large datasets.
- Experience in Microsoft Excel (pivot tables, VLOOKUPs, data formatting).
- Exposure to SQL, Python, or R is a significant plus.
- Familiarity with ETL processes and data visualization tools like Tableau, Power BI, or Looker Studio.
- Knowledge of the digital advertising ecosystem (Google Analytics, Meta Business Suite, or similar ecommerce data environments) preferred.
- A "measure twice, cut once" approach to data accuracy.
- Natural desire to ask "why" behind numbers and a proactive approach to learning new proprietary tools and AI methodologies.
- Aptitude to explain technical findings clearly to non-technical team members.
- Comfortable working in a fast-paced, agency-style environment requiring cross-departmental teamwork.
