About the Role
Join SS&C Advent's Marketing Operations team to execute and optimize lead generation, client engagement, email, and event marketing programs. This individual contributor role requires strong technical aptitude, attention to detail, and direct experience with Marketo and Salesforce.
Responsibilities
- Build, QA, launch, and monitor marketing campaigns within Marketo, including email, webinar, event, web, advertising, and nurture programs.
- Manage campaign requests through a structured ticketing and project management process using Adobe Workfront.
- Perform thorough quality assurance testing to ensure campaigns, assets, tracking, and integrations function correctly prior to launch.
- Develop and validate audience targeting criteria using Marketo and Salesforce data to support campaign objectives.
- Troubleshoot Marketo and Salesforce issues, identify root causes, and implement solutions.
- Maintain campaign documentation, operational standards, and process guides.
- Partner with marketing stakeholders to understand business objectives and translate requirements into scalable campaign execution.
- Monitor campaign performance and assist with reporting, data quality, and operational best practices.
- Continuously identify opportunities to improve efficiency, streamline processes, and enhance the overall marketing technology ecosystem.
- Manage multiple projects simultaneously while consistently meeting deadlines and maintaining high-quality standards.
Requirements
- 3+ years of hands-on digital marketing or marketing operations experience.
- Direct experience building and executing campaigns in Adobe Marketo required.
- Experience independently building, testing, QA-ing, and deploying Marketo email, webinar, event, web, and nurture programs, including audience segmentation, complex smart list development, smart campaigns, tokens, and reporting.
- Working knowledge of Salesforce CRM, including campaigns, leads, contacts, and reporting.
- Exceptional attention to detail and commitment to quality assurance.
- Strong organizational skills and ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
- Demonstrated ownership, accountability, and follow-through in a deadline-driven environment.
- Self-motivated and capable of working independently while collaborating effectively within a team.
- Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Comfortable learning new technologies, adapting to changing priorities, and working in a fast-paced environment.
- Strong service-oriented mindset with a focus on supporting internal marketing partners.
Skills
- Adobe Marketo certification.
- Basic HTML and CSS knowledge.
- Experience with Adobe Workfront or similar project management systems.
- Familiarity with email marketing metrics, reporting, and optimization.
- Experience with lead management, lead scoring, and marketing automation best practices.
- Basic image editing skills using Photoshop or similar tools.
- Experience in a B2B marketing environment.
- Ability to explain technical concepts clearly to non-technical stakeholders.

- New Jersey: 70,000 USD to 75,000 USD
- New York: 70,000 USD to 75,000 USD
- Washington: 70,000 USD to 75,000 USD

- Maryland: 70,000 USD to 75,000 USD
- Illinois: 70,000 USD to 75,000 USD
- Massachusetts: 70,000 USD to 75,000 USD
- Vermont: 70,000 USD to 75,000 USD
- District of Columbia: 70,000 USD to 75,000 USD
- Eligible for consideration on an annual basis for a discretionary bonus and/or equity awards, such as restricted stock units or stock options, based upon individual and business performance at the company’s discretion.
