About the Role
Leverage in-depth Murex expertise to design and deliver robust solutions. Apply a strong understanding of end-to-end functional processes within banks and asset management organizations, including front-office, risk, finance, and operations. Lead design sessions with stakeholders, translating complex requirements into clear functional and technical concepts.
Responsibilities
- Support the overall design and integrity of the Murex application landscape.
- Drive technology and architectural selection for optimal Murex setups.
- Operate effectively in complex front-to-back environments, managing priorities and supporting distributed teams.
- Lead technically by designing and delivering cross-framework integration solutions and consolidation programs.
- Translate TDD solution concepts into LLDs and support agile development.
- Support go-live planning, execution, stabilization, and post-go-live support.
- Contribute to CI/CD pipeline design, implementation, and continuous improvement.
- Drive innovation by automating release activities and improving delivery efficiency.
- Define, document, and maintain operating procedures, ensuring compliance.
- Establish and own governance structures for risk management.
Requirements
- Strong hands-on Murex experience in technical interfacing (MxML Exchange, Datamart, pre/post-trade processing, market/static data) and functional areas (GOM, product/trade lifecycle, pricing, simulation, counterparty management).
- Deep expertise in Murex platform technical architecture and data models, including MxML Exchange and Datamart.
- Proven experience managing and consolidating cross-platform Murex environments.
- Strong hands-on experience with database technologies (Transact-SQL, PL/SQL), Unix/Linux systems, shell scripting, and proficiency in at least two programming languages.
- Experience leading greenfield implementations, migration programs, and large-scale transformation initiatives.
- Strong communication skills to build and maintain stakeholder relationships.
- Knowledge of cloud platforms and architectures.
- Experience with robotic process automation (RPA) or operational process automation (advantageous).
- Experience with DevOps practices, CI/CD pipelines, and tools (Bitbucket, Jira, Jenkins, ServiceNow, Automic, Autosys).
- Hands-on experience with Murex batch configuration and EOD processing.
- Experience with Murex upgrades and migrations (e.g., version 3.1.36 and above) (advantageous).
- Excellent written and spoken communication skills in English and German.
- Strong knowledge of capital markets.
- Understanding of IT operational principles and solid experience in service management disciplines (Incident, Problem, Change, IT Service Continuity, Capacity Management).
