About the Role

Lead, oversee, and review daily cleaning services staff for assigned buildings/facilities. Ensure clean, orderly, and attractive conditions while performing technical tasks. Deliver desired results within budget guidelines and drive new business acquisition.

Responsibilities

  • Monitor daily staff performance to meet client expectations.
  • Communicate with direct reports to resolve concerns promptly.
  • Ensure direct reports and clients have functional location schedules two weeks in advance.
  • Enforce proper uniform attire for all employees daily.
  • Establish schedules, work goals, and methods for cleaning services.
  • Identify resource needs, review with management, and allocate resources utilizing staff input.
  • Partner with HR to manage employee issues.
  • Identify high performers for potential leadership opportunities.
  • Review budget and payroll reports daily to track financial results.
  • Monitor punches and attendance for accuracy and consistency, addressing manual punches daily.
  • Attend and participate in weekly Regional calls, reviewing personal performance.
  • Utilize EPay consistently to maintain business continuity.
  • Prohibit manual punches.
  • Terminate employees in the system within the first week of separation.
  • Ensure salaried employees enter time into Blue Force weekly.
  • Minimize exception clocking's through ongoing employee training.
  • Anticipate hiring needs and keep job postings current within 5 days.
  • Withdraw old job postings with HR assistance.
  • Develop and execute a recruitment strategy for each area/location.
  • Email all background check requests to hr@bluechip-pros.com.
  • Process new hire paperwork per HR established processes.
  • Onboard new hires on their first day.
  • Review new hire role responsibilities.
  • Train new hires on timekeeping system usage.
  • Present company policies, procedures, and code of conduct to new hires.
  • Conduct safety training for new hires.
  • Ensure uniforms are ordered and delivered to new hires by their first week.
  • Order supplies in advance and anticipate orders within monthly budgets.
  • Submit equipment repairs promptly to Bill Faulhaber.
  • Submit Central expenses to Expense @bluechip-pros.com and Operations VP once Regional Manager reviews and approves.
  • Perform preventative maintenance of equipment.
  • Maintain equipment inventory by location.
  • Maintain a consistent visitation schedule for location audits.
  • Communicate audit plan to the Regional Manager and VP of Operations via email.
  • Provide daily status updates with successes and concerns to the Regional Manager.
  • Create action plans to address concerns.
  • Conduct consistent quality control audits at each location.
  • Immediately address any issues uncovered in audits.
  • Address customer call outs/notifications within 24 hours.
  • Develop a plan of action to address customer needs.
  • Oversee OSHA required safety trainings at locations.
  • Ensure Supervisors perform weekly informal and monthly formal safety inspections.
  • Work with safety, security, and clients to report potential problem areas.
  • Create and monitor current safety exposure plans at each site.
  • Assure all SDS sheets and manuals are in janitorial closets.
  • Report all incident/accident reports immediately.
  • Maintain 100% utilization of approved budget hours per week for Mall Accounts.
  • Restrict Overtime to Mall approved hours in advance.
  • Communicate overtime restrictions to the CFO, VP of Operations, and the Accounts Receivable Manager.
  • Communicate changes to budgeted hours by any center to the CFO, VP of Operations, and the Account Receivable Manager.
  • Encourage team to seek future business opportunities and submit tracker weekly.
  • Strive for two conversations weekly that may lead to future business.
  • Submit additional business per diem purchase order tracker weekly.
  • Sell out-of-scope work at current client sites.
