About the Role
Support a program of high-impact, high-volume retail merchandising projects, ensuring flawless implementation by the in-house retail studio. Maintain and manage inputs/outputs in a bespoke data management and planogram output tool. Facilitate efficient project workflow, develop and manage timelines, and monitor project tracking. Support process optimization and innovation, collaborating with creative, production, quality assurance teams, agency leads, and client stakeholders.
Responsibilities
- Manage small retail merchandising projects independently or support senior project management.
- Ensure projects are delivered on time, within budget, and exceed client expectations.
- Focus on developing, iterating, and distributing large-scale retail store planograms with product-driven updates.
- Support program management for scheduling, tracking, change management, evaluation, and task control.
- Set clear expectations for tasks and deliverables across teams, providing necessary materials and documentation.
- Anticipate, identify, and communicate risks, seeking guidance for mitigation.
- Monitor project progress, status, issue resolution, task allocation, and timeline tracking, adjusting as needed.
- Adopt automation and tools to streamline efficiency.
- Ensure accurate implementation and maintenance of planograms, including inventory management, product placement, and compliance.
Requirements
- 2+ years of project management experience in an agency environment.
- Experience managing a high volume of projects aligned to product lifecycles.
- Excellent attention to detail.
- Ability to multi-task in a dynamic, fast-paced work environment.
- Excellent communication skills to drive workflow and internal processes.
- Ability to work with distributed global teams.
- Exposure to standard communication, project management, and workflow tools.
- Familiarity with retail merchandising projects focused on planogram development (ideal).
- Experience in the consumer electronics industry (plus).
- Previous exposure to projects in the retail planning & merchandising space (plus).
- Familiarity with production teams using modeling and rendering software for retail diagrams.
- Familiarity with quality assurance for validating deliverable specifications.
- Understanding of how customer experience in retail affects space planning decisions.
- Understanding of business drivers for merchandising, store planning teams, and retail partners worldwide.
