About the Role
Lead high-quality delivery of software and enterprise technology solutions across the SDLC. Drive enterprise-level modern architecture, robust software engineering practices, and cloud adoption. Collaborate with senior clients and internal teams to achieve business outcomes. This role supports the rapidly growing Financial Services business across the DACH region as a Technology & Engineering SME.
Responsibilities
- Define future architecture, technology choices, and operating models for financial services clients.
- Deliver new digital solutions and efficiencies within the German Banking Sector.
- Drive enterprise-scale engineering transformation and AI adoption for growth and customer experience.
- Contribute to regional business growth by developing new ideas and go-to-market strategies.
- Contribute to engineering practices and initiatives, mentor and inspire engineering talent.
- Represent the company in DACH technology industry forums.
Requirements
- Strong knowledge of at least one segment of the German Banking Sector (e.g., Core Banking, Payment Systems, Regulatory Frameworks, Risk Management).
- Experience influencing senior client stakeholders (up to C-suite) and building client advocates.
- Mature point of view on DACH Financial Services sector topics and a strategy for revenue conversion.
- Experience delivering Digital Business Transformation for Financial Services clients using modern technology and methodology.
- Ability to navigate ambiguity, structure work, and drive solution options and estimations during RFPs.
- Experience delivering end-to-end client outcomes from ideation to value realization.
- Fluent in German (Native or C1) and English.
- Extensive experience defining end-to-end enterprise architecture and leading complex distributed applications development on Cloud platforms.
- Strong knowledge of software design/architectural concepts like Event-driven Architecture, Microservices, and Domain-driven design.
- Strong understanding of data architecture concepts, including transactional consistency, data modeling, and modern data platform trade-offs.
- Extensive software development leadership experience for large-scale distributed systems with hands-on development background.
- Hands-on experience designing and implementing Agentic AI systems using specified frameworks and understanding of AI concepts.
- Broad knowledge of API styles and various data solutions.
- Strong knowledge of containers and building container-based platforms.
