Responsibilities

  • Assist with and execute data science projects, collaborating with product, engineering, and customer service teams to identify requirements, perform analysis, and present solutions.
  • Design, develop, test, and refine statistical algorithms for Lotame's business.
  • Apply data modeling, data mining, and optimization knowledge to large-scale datasets to meet business needs.
  • Develop and productize scalable predictive models for performance optimization, behavioral profiling, audience segmentation, and identity resolution.
  • Collaborate with the Data Science team to provide statistical algorithm development and support for products like Lotame’s Optimizer and Cross Device.
  • Communicate clearly with team members regarding progress, blockers, and availability in a hybrid work environment.

Requirements

  • Equivalent knowledge of statistical modeling, machine learning.
  • Strong fundamental understanding of statistical modeling, machine learning, big data analytics, and algorithmic analysis.
  • Ability to select and articulate appropriate algorithmic solutions for problems.
  • Comprehension of algorithms including Bayesian Data Analysis, Classification, Clustering, Regression, Collaborative Filtering, and Graph Algorithms.
  • Experience with or theoretical understanding of distributed computing frameworks (e.g., Hadoop, MapReduce, MPI).
  • Experience with Spark, Amazon EMR, and/or Hive is ideal.
  • Beneficial to have experience working with datasets in a cloud environment (AWS, Azure, Google), including tools like EMR, S3, and Athena.
