About the Role
The Assistant Executive Housekeeper (AEH) is responsible and accountable for onsite Housekeeping operations. This role ensures consistent quality and timeliness standards are met, along with budget objectives. The AEH maintains professional and effective relationships with property management and ensures company mission and values are followed, prioritizing the company, its employees, and customers.
Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain a high standard of excellence at the site
- Establish and monitor site goals
- Ensure site contractual obligations, company policies, standards, and procedures are followed
- Inspect units and complete required report cards weekly
- Be knowledgeable of carpet cleaning procedures and equipment for each site
- Monitor and strive to improve site quality scores, reporting monthly scores to management
- Train and develop staff, both existing and new recruits
- Assign tasks to staff and inspect completed work for conformance to standards
- Monitor progress of MIT candidates
- Recruit, hire, and train qualified employees
- Ensure a safe working environment at site and office
- Plan work schedules to ensure adequate service
- Train all employees to monitor daily progress and complete tasks on time
- Perform any and all duties related to site operation
- Ensure a sense of urgency exists at each site so that units are turned on time
- Ensure all weekly reports are completed in a timely manner
- Arrive promptly for work, appointments, and meetings
- Assist with and provide feedback on site budgets as necessary
- Recommend salary adjustments for staff as per company guidelines
- Maintain adequate inventory and equipment supplies
- Build professional relationships with resort management and other key members of the resort staff
- Be approachable and always follow up
- Create strong, positive customer relations
- Troubleshoot and problem solve to meet customers' needs
- Investigate and resolve issues related to personnel
- Be knowledgeable of the complete resort
- Solve guest complaints promptly

- Must be legally authorized to work in the United States without restriction
- Must be 18 years of age or older
