About the Role

This is a rare opportunity to join a growing treaty underwriting team, offering a career transition from broking into underwriting. The role involves taking ownership, broadening your remit, and developing into a fully rounded underwriter within an exciting and evolving environment.

Responsibilities

  • Support the growth of an international property & specialty treaty portfolio
  • Build and maintain relationships with brokers and cedants
  • Review and price treaty risks using internal models and data tools
  • Contribute to new business strategy and development initiatives
  • Support marketing activity, client engagement, and market presence
  • Use analytics and insight to help shape underwriting decisions

Requirements

  • Treaty reinsurance experience (from broking or underwriting)
  • Strong interest in moving into or further developing within underwriting
  • Commercial awareness
  • Analytical mindset
  • Confidence working with data and communicating insights clearly
  • Enjoys collaboration but is equally comfortable taking initiative
  • Proactive thinker who wants to challenge the status quo and grow
