About the Role

This role involves owning shared systems and AI infrastructure, which are critical for Anrok's growth and compliance workflows. The Platform and AI infrastructure team enables other teams to move quickly without compromising compliance. This position offers the opportunity to drive execution and strategy, shape the product roadmap, and develop senior engineers. While the team primarily uses TypeScript and React, prior experience with these technologies is not required.

Responsibilities

Hire, manage, and grow a talented team building platform and AI infrastructure.
Set product and technical strategy, driving high-quality execution processes.
Write and review code with team engineers as needed.
Foster a collaborative culture of feedback, opportunity, and growth.
Contribute to Anrok's engineering culture and initiatives.
Identify appropriate uses of AI for automations.
Mentor engineers, contribute to technical culture, and raise building standards.

Requirements

3+ years of engineering management experience.
Significant experience as a software engineer.
Proven ability to set individuals and teams up for success.
Enjoy coding and possess strong technical acumen for guiding decisions.
Experience building and operating AI infrastructure for LLM-powered or agentic products in production.
Track record of building shared services and components for internal engineering teams.
Curiosity and motivation to learn new tools, with demonstrated AI experimentation.
