About the Role

The Key Account Analyst provides high-quality analytical and reporting support to the Walmart and Alternative Channels team, enabling faster, more effective decision-making through automation, data-driven insights, and proactive performance tracking. This role acts as a strategic partner, translating complex data into actionable priorities to drive commercial performance and identifying opportunities to streamline processes for improved efficiency.

Responsibilities

  • Develop, standardize, and continuously enhance internal reporting across Walmart and Alternative Channels using advanced Excel and automation tools
  • Build scalable, automated reporting solutions that reduce manual effort and improve speed to insight
  • Extract, integrate, and analyze data from multiple sources (e.g., customer portals, SAP BI, TPM) to deliver accurate and actionable reporting
  • Deliver high-quality ad hoc analysis under tight timelines to support evolving business needs
  • Serve as the primary analytical partner to Field Sales, translating data into clear, actionable priorities that drive in-store execution and results
  • Deliver weekly and monthly reporting with concise insights, highlighting risks, opportunities, and recommended actions
  • Communicate priorities clearly across regions to ensure alignment and focus
  • Partner with customer-side analysts (Replenishment, Category) to proactively resolve issues and maintain data integrity
  • Support selling stories with store-level insights and fact-based recommendations
  • Maintain and govern Master Item Lists, ensuring accuracy and consistency across systems
  • Ensure data integrity across all tools, reports, and materials used by NAM/KAM teams
  • Support the development of high-impact, insight-led presentations for internal and customer-facing discussions
  • Translate complex datasets into clear, compelling visuals and narratives
  • Develop charts, dashboards, and analytics that support strategic storytelling
  • Provide analytical support for volume planning, forecasting, and trade spend management across everyday and seasonal business
  • Analyze trends, historical performance, and competitive insights to identify forecast risks and opportunities
  • Support forecast updates and scenario planning in collaboration with NAM/KAM
  • Partner with Finance and Supply Chain to ensure alignment on volume and spend assumptions
  • Contribute to improving forecasting accuracy through continuous process enhancements

Requirements

  • Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel, including the ability to build complex models and automate reporting
  • Strong analytical skills with a high level of attention to detail and accuracy
  • Proven ability to translate data into clear, actionable business insights for diverse audiences
  • Strong time management and prioritization skills, with the ability to perform effectively in a fast-paced environment
  • Excellent communication skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams and external partners
  • Demonstrated ability to identify inefficiencies and proactively drive process improvements

Salary/Compensations

  • $67,000 - $85,000 CAD per annum with a 10% performance-based bonus. Final salary may vary based on market location, job-related knowledge, skills, and experience.
