About the Role
Ramp agents provide all necessary under-wing ground support services, including loading and unloading baggage and cargo, marshalling, and water and lavatory servicing.
Responsibilities
- Marshall aircraft during arrival and departure.
- Unload passenger luggage and air cargo (bulk, containers, or pallets) onto carts or dollies.
- Unload and deliver wheelchairs and child strollers to designated locations.
- Provide special handling for luggage and cargo as required.
- Deliver passenger luggage to the claim area and unload onto the conveyor system.
- Deliver air cargo to the appropriate recipient.
- Operate ground support equipment including tow tractors, tow bars, belt loaders, container loaders, baggage tugs, water/lavatory service trucks, aircraft ground power units, aircraft air start units, air stairs, aircraft de-icing units, baggage carts, cargo dollies, and passenger vans.
- Collect and load mail, live animals, wheelchairs, and child strollers onto aircraft.
- Service aircraft water and lavatories.
- Inspect ramp areas adjacent to gates and aircraft for debris, then remove and dispose of it.
- Report all equipment malfunctions to the appropriate supervisor or manager.
- Comply with all federal, state, municipal, airport authority, and carrier security requirements.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
Requirements
- Good command of English language, both verbal and written.
- Valid driver's license.
- Ability to work in inclement weather.
- Flexibility to work various shifts (days, evenings, nights, weekends, and holidays).
- Excellent Health & Safety awareness.
- Ability to lift heavy objects up to 70 pounds (32 kilograms).

- Previous ramp experience is a plus.
Salary/Compensations
- Expected pay rate: $21.63/hour.
