Responsibilities
- Ensure a high level of customer service for assigned departments.
- Oversee day-to-day operations.
- Train and communicate policies and procedures to department associates daily (e.g., SKU, pricing, printing signs/labels, RF unit operation).
- Complete merchandise ordering and replenishment.
- Supervise a team within assigned departments, ensuring cross-functional collaboration.
- Ensure all associates execute the GT System (policies, procedures, standards).
- Take appropriate action and provide recommendations based on area analysis.
- Lead merchandising activities.
- Follow best practices for receiving and processing merchandise.
- Prepare and participate in inventory management activities (e.g., cycle counts).
- Provide input to the Store Owner/Manager for scheduling and quantification.
- Resolve customer complaints quickly and professionally.
- Open and close the store on a rotating basis.
- Actively engage with the store’s local community.
- Support the store owner/manager on additional tasks and projects.
- Ensure health and safety policies and guidelines are followed.
- Ensure the checkout work area is kept clean and organized.
- Ensure Loss Prevention best practices are followed.
- Ensure compliance with all policies when selling tobacco and lottery.

- Equivalent Giant Tiger keyholder experience
