About the Role

This role involves maintaining Clean Scapes contractual obligations on client properties regarding herbicide, pesticide, and fertilization management. Duties include ensuring a safe work environment for all personnel assigned to chemical use and strict adherence to all federal, state, and local laws and regulations. The position requires working outdoors, exposing individuals to temperature extremes, pollen, dust, and fumes from chemicals, glues, automobiles, and power equipment daily.

Responsibilities

Safely and effectively apply products for insect, weed, turf disease, and nutritional deficiency treatment.
Operate, maintain, and troubleshoot spray equipment, ensuring cleanliness and functionality.
Ensure field equipment compliance with federal, state, and local regulations.
Oversee chemical usage compliance, including accurate documentation.
Maintain accurate records of chemical applications in compliance with regulations.
Apply chemicals with sound judgment, considering public exposure, weather, and environmental impact.
Promote and maintain safe working conditions during spray operations, ensuring OSHA and company policy compliance.

Requirements

Comfortable working outdoors in extreme temperatures (heat or cold).
Valid Driver's License.
TDA Commercial Applicator License (preferred).
Ability to perform heavy lifting, pushing, and pulling up to 50 pounds.
Manual dexterity, wrist-finger movement, and ability to dig using a shovel.
Physical coherence and awareness when operating heavy machinery, equipment, or driving.
