About the Role
Oversee performance across multiple studios, focusing on member acquisition, retention, team development, and achieving sales and operational goals for at least two locations. This leadership role drives revenue growth, improves profitability, ensures best-in-class member experience, and coaches teams to achieve sales targets and operational excellence. The role partners with the Head Coach to align sales, operations, and fitness execution, leveraging business acumen and data-driven insights to deliver results.
Responsibilities
- Lead, coach, and develop Studio Managers and studio teams to deliver brand standards in member experience, sales, operations, and financial performance.
- Hold Studio Managers accountable to performance expectations through coaching, feedback, and development planning.
- Ensure appropriate staffing through proactive workforce planning, talent deployment, and succession planning.
- Build leadership bench strength by recruiting, selecting, and developing high-quality talent.
- Support and reinforce training initiatives for consistent onboarding, ongoing development, and operational excellence.
- Partner with Studio Managers, Head Coaches, and the Regional Sales and Operations Manager to develop and execute action plans for growth and performance.
- Oversee sales performance, utilization, and operational execution across all assigned studios to achieve business goals.
- Drive profitability by increasing membership, maximizing class bookings, and growing ancillary revenue while managing expenses.
- Generate and support lead generation through community outreach, marketing initiatives, and local market engagement strategies.
- Monitor, analyze, and report on studio performance metrics through accurate and timely reporting.
- Develop Studio Managers’ financial acumen to strengthen accountability and improve unit-level performance.
- Lead execution of sales strategies and local market initiatives to achieve revenue and membership growth targets.
- Ensure consistent execution of corporate promotions and community marketing efforts to drive brand awareness and studio performance.
- Champion a consistent, high-quality member experience across all assigned studios in alignment with brand standards.
- Partner with studio teams to promptly address and resolve member inquiries, concerns, and escalations.
- Conduct regular studio visits (1–4 per week per location, as needed) to assess performance, reinforce standards, and provide real-time coaching.
- Monitor member feedback, team feedback, and satisfaction trends to ensure timely follow-up and sustained corrective actions.
- Oversee and ensure consistent execution of studio operations across all assigned locations, including compliance with company policies, procedures, and brand standards.
- Maintain accurate inventory tracking of studio equipment, shipments, supplies, janitorial materials, and retail merchandise.
- Monitor operational performance and partner with Studio Managers to identify gaps, implement solutions, and improve underperforming locations.
- Support resolution of operational issues, including employee relations matters, HR processes, inventory management, supply chain coordination, and facility maintenance.
- Leverage meetings, reporting tools, and digital communication platforms to drive alignment, communicate priorities, and ensure operational consistency.
- Ensure cleanliness, upkeep, and functional efficiency of all studio facilities and equipment, including coordination with internal teams and external vendors.
- Directly manage Studio Managers.
- Responsible for the overall direction, coordination, and performance of assigned studios.
- Oversee operations, financial results, and team effectiveness.
Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Minimum 2+ years of experience in retail, fitness, hospitality, or direct sales management environments with demonstrated success in lead generation, team leadership, and performance management.
- Prior single-unit management experience.
- Demonstrated ability to lead and develop teams, drive sales performance, and manage operational and financial results in a fast-paced environment.
