About the Role
This financial analysis and business partnership role drives financial analysis for a national private school network utilizing PrimerOS. Reporting to the Head of Finance, this role serves as a strategic business partner to functional leaders, assisting with tradeoffs, performance assessment, and financial strategy implementation.
Responsibilities
- Own site-level forecasts in partnership with state General Manager teams to inform company decisions based on financial realities and strategic priorities
- Partner with the Real Estate team to ensure completeness and accuracy of pro-forma modeling, returns forecasting, and project-level budget-vs-actual analyses
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams on operational decisions, providing guidance, analysis, and historical financial data
- Partner with the Controller to align forward-looking financial views with actuals from the accounting system
- Support the Monthly Business Review process and deliver management financial reporting, both programmatic and ad hoc
Requirements
- 5-7 years of experience in corporate finance, including financial modeling and reporting
- Experience in finance business partnership is a plus
- Prior experience in at least one of the following areas: real estate, capital planning, business partnership, or corporate finance
- Oriented towards building from scratch only once, leveraging AI tools like Claude or Codex
- Possess a builder mindset, bias towards enablement, and willingness to learn new things
- Bring a diplomatic and trustworthy presence, adapting style for differing considerations and financial sophistication levels
- Provide clarity on decisions through rigorous analysis and financial intuition
- Time spent in businesses with a real estate footprint (e.g., education, QSR, fitness, dentistry)
- Exposure to capital planning, project budgeting, and/or construction finance
- Familiarity with NetSuite, Ramp, Salesforce, or Hex
