About the Role
Our vision is to be the leading Canadian Asset Management organization supporting our clients to optimize the performance and achieve the greatest value from their assets (Physical, Financial, Human and Information) throughout their entire lifecycle (planning: creation; operation; and maintenance). This will be achieved by combining our digital, engineering, data analytics and advisory expertise from our local and global teams to deliver safe, sustainable, reliable and environmentally friendly asset management solutions for diverse asset intensive organisations, enabling strategic, tactical and operational, asset management planning and informed decision-making in a continually changing global environment.
Responsibilities
- Play a key role in business development.
- Build strong, high-trust customer relationships.
- Deliver measurable value to current and future clients.
- Build a team of Asset Management Professionals.
- Develop AM strategy, policy, and Capital Asset (CAPEX) planning.
- Improve Operational Performance (OPEX) through asset reliability and effective maintenance strategies.
- Reduce risk, cost, and value leakage.
- Develop the Asset Management Advisory practice through business case and use case development.
- Present the value and benefits of Asset Management to potential clients.
- Ensure alignment between Asset Management best practices and Design/Engineering of infrastructure throughout the asset life cycle.
- Lead and successfully deliver projects on time, within scope, and on budget.
Requirements
- Sound understanding of asset management solutions, primarily in the transportation sector.
- Proven experience working as a client or in an Advisory environment.
- Good understanding and familiarity with industry standards and best practices (ISO55000, ISO31000 principles, GFMAM methodology, O.Reg588/17, PSAB3150).
- Tender management and bid experience.
- Good understanding of risk management (e.g., FMECA, Bow Tie, Fishbone).
- Membership of a Professional Institution (e.g., IAM, PEMAC, SMRP).
