About the Role
The Warehouse Associate joins the Warehouse team, reporting to the Warehouse Director. This role is responsible for executing all warehouse functions, including receiving, storing, handling, shipping, and preparing products for retail store delivery. The associate will maintain a safe and orderly warehouse environment while contributing to a collaborative, high-performing, and values-driven workplace.
Responsibilities
- Stage inbound cartons by purchase order.
- Scan and receive merchandise in the system, verifying accuracy against packing lists.
- Scan and pick back stock merchandise from designated locations.
- Scan and pack merchandise into store cartons.
- Close store cartons for UPS shipping.
- Scan and receive end-of-season merchandise returning from stores.
- Put away merchandise by style, color, and size into locations.
- Scan and pick bulk and pick-to-carton for web orders.
- Scan and pack orders, then print packing lists.
- Verify quantities and items being shipped against packing slips.
- Individually pack items in tissue and place in cartons for shipping.
- Substitute for other warehouse personnel as needed.
- Meet deadlines.
- Maintain an excellent attendance record.
- Perform other related duties as assigned.
Requirements
- High school diploma or GED preferred.
- Ability to lift and carry up to 50 lbs on a regular basis.
- Ability to climb stairs or ladders.
- Ability to walk and stand for long periods of time.
- Ability to push, pull, and move heavy items (pallets, carts, boxes).
- Comfortable working in varied temperatures (hot, cold, or refrigerated warehouses).
- Exposure to noise, dust, and equipment movement.

- Product labeling and shipping manifest interpretation
- General knowledge of apparel and accessories product categories
- Effective communication with co-workers
- Task organization and prioritization
- Understanding of wholesale or retail business (a plus)
- Basic computer proficiency
- Neat folding
- Hand jack operation for pallet movement
- Hand tool operation
- Scanner operation
- Forklift operation (if certified)
- Spanish language proficiency (a plus)
