About the Role
This role advances the firm’s use of generative AI and emerging legal technologies to improve legal work delivery. It drives adoption, improves workflows, and integrates AI-enabled tools into daily legal practice by bridging legal practice and technology. The position engages attorneys, identifies adoption barriers, and develops tailored strategies to build credibility and support effective AI tool use across the firm. It emphasizes clear communication, pragmatic problem-solving, and direct attorney interaction through various sessions.
Responsibilities
- Partner with attorneys, practice groups, and innovation stakeholders to identify high-impact opportunities for applying generative AI and legal technology.
- Support the design, rollout, and scaling of practice-specific, AI-enabled workflows aligned with attorney needs and firm priorities.
- Engage directly with attorneys to understand adoption challenges, gather feedback, and recommend practical solutions to reduce friction and increase utilization.
- Design and support onboarding, training, and enablement programs, including presentations, workshops, demos, and written materials showcasing real-world AI use cases.
- Serve as a day-to-day point of contact between attorneys and the Innovation Department on legal technology and service delivery matters.
- Monitor usage trends and engagement signals to identify opportunities for additional training, reinforcement, or expanded use of AI tools.
- Contribute to knowledge management initiatives by making legal know-how more accessible and scalable through responsible AI use.
- Translate attorney feedback into actionable insights for Innovation leadership to inform tool enhancements, prioritization, and strategic planning.
- Support pilots of new AI tools and workflows, assisting with coordination, documentation, and outcome assessment.
- Act as a change champion by reinforcing best practices, coaching attorneys through transitions, and embedding new tools into daily routines.
- Assist with Innovation Department initiatives, special projects, and other assigned duties.
Requirements
- Relevant legal experience in a law firm or corporate legal environment preferred.
- Approximately 3+ years of professional experience, ideally involving legal practice support, innovation, knowledge management, or client-facing roles.
- Experience supporting attorneys, clients, or internal stakeholders through change, training, or process improvement initiatives.

- Demonstrated interest in emerging technologies, particularly generative AI, and their application in legal or professional services.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills to build credibility and trust with attorneys and business professionals.
- Ability to translate complex concepts into clear, practical guidance for diverse audiences.

- Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite (Word, PowerPoint, Excel, Outlook).
- Comfort using collaboration, knowledge management, and workflow tools (e.g., SharePoint, HighQ, or similar platforms).
- Ability to quickly learn and effectively use new legal technology and AI-enabled tools.
- Familiarity with automation or reporting tools is a plus.
