About the Role
This unique role ensures patients have a smooth, positive experience while empowering sonographers to focus on delivering expert care. From prepping exam rooms to assisting with workflow and administrative tasks, you’ll help keep our clinics running seamlessly each day.
Responsibilities
- Incorporate empathy and professionalism in delivering excellent patient care.
- Travel to clinic sites within your assigned area.
- Call existing clinical sites to confirm the schedule the day prior.
- Assist clinical staff with patient calls, front desk check-in and check-out, and rescheduling patients.
- Prepare patients and exam rooms for ultrasound procedures.
- Retrieve patient files and obtain medical information relevant to the ultrasound exam.
- Escort patients and visitors to the exam room.
- Collect patient height, weight, blood pressure, and other vitals.
- Conduct patient intake questionnaire forms.
- Assist medical professionals with patient examinations or procedures.
- Assist in updating and archiving medical records and ultrasound images.
- Clean ultrasound equipment and restock supplies as needed.
- Perform other duties assigned by managers.
Requirements
- Organized and reliable with strong attention to detail.
- Positive, adaptable, and ready to support team needs.
- Excellent communicator thriving in fast-paced environments.
- Curious about healthcare and passionate about delivering great service.
- At least 1 year of work or leadership experience (preferred in customer service or healthcare).
- Legally authorized to work in the United States for any employer without sponsorship, now or in the future.
- Category 1 risk of exposure to bloodborne pathogens (tasks involve exposure to blood, body fluids, or tissues).
Skills
- Microsoft Office proficiency.
- EMR systems familiarity (plus/bonus).
- Bilingual: Spanish & English (bonus).

Experience Level
- At least 1 year of work or leadership experience (preferred in customer service or healthcare).
- 1-3 years of experience in healthcare (bonus).
Education Level
- Associate or bachelor's degree (bonus).
- American Association of Medical Assistants (AAMA) certified (bonus).
