About the Role
Provide technical assistance to employees, fulfilling service desk requests including account and hardware provisioning/de-provisioning, macOS/iOS support, printer configuration/troubleshooting, basic network connectivity, conference room equipment audits, and IT asset inventory management. This role requires commuting to the office.
Responsibilities
- Provide IT technical support to employees in-person and remotely
- Troubleshoot hardware and software issues, supporting Mac endpoint deployment
- Provide in-office AV support, managing conference room equipment and supporting live events
- Support account provisioning and de-provisioning via Okta and Google Workspace
- Support new employee onboarding sessions
- Write knowledge base how-to articles to support and educate employees
- Manage deployed computers and mobile devices via JAMF and Google MDM
- Manage the procurement of IT hardware and software
- Perform basic troubleshooting of wired and wireless networks
Requirements
- Self-starter with ability to multitask, prioritize issues based on severity, and work independently
- Maintains high attention to detail and follows tasks to completion
- Approaches users' issues with empathy
- Ability to communicate clearly with users directly via email, chat, and video conferencing
- Demonstrates excellent writing skills
- Ability to troubleshoot and administer Apple computers and mobile devices
- Basic understanding of wired and wireless networks
- Experience with Google Meet and Zoom device configuration and troubleshooting
