About the Role

This role offers a product designer the opportunity to work independently, manage projects end-to-end, and develop design processes.

Responsibilities

  • Collaborate with product managers, engineers, and content designers to develop and ship ideas, maintaining high standards.
  • Craft user journeys and interfaces, balancing content, design, and UI for effortless and considered experiences.
  • Understand prospective customers and audiences, translating insights into design solutions.
  • Champion design thinking, guiding problem-solving from initial concept to final release.
  • Shape and steward a design system and shared principles to ensure scalable design integrity.

Requirements

  • 3-5 years experience in a product design role
  • Strong visual design skills, with dedication to quality and functionality
  • Ability to take ownership of design in a product team, from ideation to shipping
  • Eye for typography and visual hierarchy
  • Attention to detail: pixel-perfect spacing, consistent alignment, and visual rhythm
  • Experience with design systems or style guides, understanding visual consistency at scale
  • Ability to clearly articulate how to bridge the gap between designers and engineers
  • Ability to distill complex topics into simple and beautiful design solutions
  • Proficiency in giving and receiving honest feedback, and pushing back with conviction and care
  • Experience working with data and insights to nurture user empathy
  • Selection of case studies showcasing your work
