About the Role
This role offers a diverse range of tasks within an internationally successful medical technology group, providing long-term training and development opportunities. The Technical Consultant CST supports surgeons and operating room staff with operational and pre-operative questions, driving commercial sales activities (cross- and up-selling) primarily for navigation, imaging (O-Arm), and robotics, and supporting the spinal product portfolio (Core Spine, Biologics, Midas, AQM).
Responsibilities
- Provide technical support in the operating room (pre-, intra-, and post-operative) for clinic personnel.
- Advise on product application and specification.
- Identify sales opportunities for the entire product portfolio (cross- and up-selling), coordinate sales tactics with the field sales team, and initiate offers.
- Optimize the use of spine instruments and manage supply-related tasks.
- Plan case support with Account Sales Representatives based on account prioritization.
- Train hospital personnel on independent execution of clinical procedures and device application through on-site and field training courses.
- Support conferences and meetings.
- Report activities and matters as required by management.
Requirements
- Completed commercial, scientific, or medical education/degree.
- Knowledge of the medical market and experience in neuromodulation.
- Goal-oriented and structured work approach.
- Strong analytical and strategic skills.
- Team player.
- Excellent German and English language skills, both written and spoken.
- Several years of sales experience as a medical device consultant or clinic representative in neurology (ideally).
- Operating room experience (advantageous).
- Good technical understanding (advantageous).
- Experience in a large corporation with matrix structures (advantageous).
- Full measles vaccination is required due to facility-specific vaccination mandate.
