About the Role

Responsible for planning and designing new software and web applications. Completes programming and implements, tests and debugs defined software components.

Responsibilities

• Review, write, and edit code.
• Conduct analysis for integration needs.
• Research, write, and edit documentation and technical requirements, including software design evaluation plans, test results, and technical manuals.
• Monitor and evaluate competitive applications and products.
• Review literature, patents, and current practices relevant to project solutions.
• Collaborate with the Quality Assurance team to ensure applications meet specifications and technical requirements.
• Apply engineering methodologies relevant to the specialty.
• Demonstrate knowledge of engineering concepts and their application in the specified specialty.
• Apply process design and redesign skills.
• Exercise independent judgment and discretion in significant matters.
• Maintain regular, consistent, and punctual attendance.
• Work nights, weekends, variable schedules, and overtime as necessary.
• Perform other assigned duties and responsibilities.
