About the Role

Join the Web Platform squad in the Access Cluster, working on a product used by top financial institutions globally, crucial for the digital economy. As a Test Engineer, you will contribute to delivering mission-critical financial software, focusing on quality, security, availability, resiliency, scalability, performance, and system resources consumption, following Agile methodologies. This role involves Testing, Automation, and DevOps activities of medium to high complexity, including development work for software testing frameworks.

Responsibilities

  • Participate in agile software development, DevOps, testing, and automation practices.
  • Actively engage in the full development cycle for new user stories: requirements review, solution design, implementation, testing plan, and development testing.
  • Understand problems, solutions, and ensure overall software consistency.
  • Share team commitments and take ownership of solution components.
  • Perform software delivery tasks, including builds and installation of releases on test environments.
  • Continuously improve work processes, tools, and software produced.
  • Collaborate with internal teams (developers, product owner) to identify system requirements, develop strategies, and create test plans.
  • Work with cross-functional teams to ensure quality throughout the software development lifecycle.
  • Automate test cases using appropriate frameworks and tools to enhance efficiency and reduce manual effort.
  • Utilize AI assistants effectively during test design, automation, and testing activities.
  • Create detailed, comprehensive, and well-structured test plans and test cases.
  • Estimate, prioritize, plan, and coordinate testing activities.
  • Design, develop, execute, and maintain manual or automated test cases and analyze results.
  • Identify, document, and track software defects using a bug tracking system, collaborating with development teams for resolution.
  • Support CI/CD-integrated test execution and troubleshoot automation failures.

Requirements

  • Strong understanding of software testing methodologies, tools, and best practices.
  • Experience with Selenium test automation frameworks.
  • Proficiency in programming languages (e.g., Java, Python).
  • Familiarity with Agile frameworks is an added advantage.
