About the Role
Lead Asset Protection activities for assigned unit in accordance with company policies and procedures, in order to drive sales and profits.
Responsibilities
- Conduct developmental conversations with direct reports, documenting strengths and opportunities.
- Interview, hire, and train Asset Protection talent; ensure team adherence to policies and procedures.
- Provide in-the-moment coaching to associates and advise leadership on development opportunities.
- Identify potential theft and fraud through observation, exception reports, and investigation referrals.
- Conduct and document interviews with associates suspected of theft or fraud.
- Review and ensure completeness and accuracy of Asset Protection documentation.
- Communicate external theft trends, partner with other locations/retailers to identify Organized Retail Crime (ORC), and gather evidence on ORC and external fraud under direction.
- Attend hearings as required and update files with court outcomes.
- Build and maintain relationships with local law enforcement and mall security partners.
- Review reports including external apprehensions, internal investigations, incident reports, PCI, PII, and Sales Audit documentation.
- Adapt Asset Protection strategies for specific stores and develop methods to educate and motivate teams on shrinkage reduction and safety.
- Coach associates on maintaining hazard-free work areas and sales floors, and on inventory maintenance processes.
- Conduct periodic audits for merchandise protection standard adherence.
- Identify deviations from company merchandise protection standards.
Salary/Compensations
- USD $57,120.00 - USD $81,600.00 /Yr.
