About the Role
This entry-level Baker position at Nothing Bundt Cakes of Carle Place requires an energetic individual with good communication skills and work ethic. The role involves learning NbC's production methods and food safety standards, including scooping, scaling, flipping, packaging, and organizing baked goods and supplies. The Baker is responsible for baking department and refrigeration organization. This is a part-time franchise position, Monday-Thursday, 9 AM - 3 PM, with a positive work culture, with an approximate start date of August 1, 2026.
Responsibilities
- Follow proprietary recipes and bake cakes in all sizes and flavors
- Scoop, scale, and flip baked goods
- Package and organize baked goods and supplies
- Organize baking department and refrigeration
- Perform physical tasks, including lifting moderate to heavy items
- Assist with unloading deliveries
- Organize baked goods inventory in the refrigerator
- Assist with cleaning baking pans
- Maintain a clean and sanitized baking area, including tables, equipment, and tools
- Restock workstation and prepare baking supplies for the next shift
