About the Role
Support the Buying department by managing accurate purchase orders, maintaining supplier relationships, and providing operational support throughout the buying cycle. Ensure products are accurately set up and delivered on time, contributing to the department's commercial success.
Responsibilities
- Manage and maintain accurate purchase orders and order confirmations across internal systems.
- Support supplier onboarding and maintain accurate records for payment terms and shipping details.
- Raise re-orders and assist with seasonal and ad hoc buying activities.
- Perform site, product, and pre-upload checks to ensure products are ready to go live.
- Manage pricing and RRPs to ensure margin and retail pricing accuracy.
- Prepare vendor packs and reports for buying trips and commercial decision-making.
- Act as a key point of contact for operational queries across Buying and other business functions.
- Build strong relationships with suppliers and internal stakeholders to resolve issues effectively.
- Provide administrative support to the wider Buying team and contribute to department priorities.
- Identify opportunities to improve processes and support function efficiency.
Requirements
- Previous experience in a fast-paced fashion retail buying or merchandising environment.
- Highly organised with excellent attention to detail and commitment to accuracy.
- Commercially aware with an understanding of the luxury retail market and products.
- Numerically confident and analytical with strong problem-solving skills.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities and work effectively under tight deadlines.
- Proactive, adaptable, and comfortable in a fast-paced environment.
- Effective communicator capable of building strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders.
