About the Role
Join DAZN's finance team to drive financial performance and deliver strategic insight across North America. This senior individual contributor and leadership role focuses on end-to-end financial planning, serving as a primary financial business partner, and leading budgeting, forecasting, long-range planning, and commercial analysis. The role supports DAZN's North American business, requiring expertise in subscription economics, broadcast, digital operations, and local sports market dynamics. You will drive P&L accountability, translate financial performance into strategic recommendations, and contribute to capital allocation and growth investment analysis.
Responsibilities
- Lead integrated annual planning (AOP), rolling forecast, and long-range planning (LRP) processes across North America.
- Serve as a strategic finance business partner to the executive leadership team, translating financial data into executive-level narratives and decision-support frameworks.
- Drive P&L ownership across multiple revenue channels, overseeing variance analysis, KPI tracking, and performance management.
- Lead financial modelling, scenario analysis, and investment appraisal for strategic initiatives, rights deals, and capital allocation decisions.
- Provide dedicated financial leadership for DAZN’s business, including P&L management, subscription modelling, and sports rights cost analysis.
- Champion finance transformation initiatives, including advanced analytics, AI-enabled forecasting tools, and process automation.
- Partner with central FP&A, Accounting, and Treasury teams to ensure accuracy, compliance, and integrity in financial reporting.
- Develop and present board-level and executive management reporting, including quarterly business reviews (QBRs), and ad hoc strategic analyses.
Requirements
- Proven track record as a strategic business partner to C-suite and senior commercial leaders.
- Ability to operate at both macro-strategic and granular analytical levels.
- Deep expertise in integrated financial planning, driver-based modelling, scenario analysis, sensitivity analysis, and long-range planning methodologies.
- Strong command of subscription and DTC business economics, including LTV, CAC, churn, ARPU, and cohort-level performance analysis.
- Experience in streaming or digital media is a strong advantage.
- Exceptional executive communication and data storytelling skills.
- Ability to distil complex analysis into clear, compelling board-level presentations and investment narratives.
