About the Role

Restoration Estimators assess and scope damage to residential and commercial properties after events like fire or flood. This role involves working with owners, adjusters, and Project Managers to facilitate cleanup and repair, accurately scoping projects, and securing work for production teams. Restoration Estimators are crucial in restoring communities by providing estimates for full rebuilds, building relationships with insurance professionals, and communicating project expectations to property owners. The role offers autonomy and continuous learning opportunities.

Responsibilities

Meet operational objectives for sales, gross margin, and brand experience.
Track metrics, including Net Promoter Score, during bi-weekly GS&R meetings.
Communicate project expectations clearly with project managers and adjusters, including onsite as needed.
Profitably scope estimates and secure project initiation.
Communicate and document change orders and insurance supplements.
Ensure projects complete within profit range and meet service level agreements.
Participate in the on-call rotation, serving as a point of contact for new losses during evenings and weekends.
Establish relationships with business owners, insurance professionals, and Third-Party Administrators (TPAs).
Seek partnerships to enhance team performance.

Requirements

Prior experience in a property restoration company.
Proficiency in Xactimate and Symbility.
Sound planning and organizational skills.
Excellent communication and presentation skills.
Valid Driver’s license and satisfactory driving record.
