About the Role
The Learning Experience – Columbus Circle seeks a caring and experienced teacher to support infants during their earliest developmental stages. This role involves creating a nurturing classroom where infants build secure relationships and early communication skills through responsive caregiving and sensory exploration.
Responsibilities
- Support daily routines for infants ages 6 weeks to 12 months
- Provide attentive care including feeding, diapering, and nap supervision
- Implement developmentally appropriate sensory learning activities
- Maintain a safe, clean, and organized classroom environment
- Observe and support developmental milestones
- Communicate regularly with families regarding routines and progress
- Follow New York State and NYC childcare licensing requirements
Requirements
- Prior infant classroom experience preferred
- Strong understanding of infant development and responsive caregiving practices
- Must meet New York State childcare licensing requirements

Experience Level
