About the Role
Orchestra seeks an Account Coordinator for the Travel + Hospitality team. This role offers an opportunity to build a career in strategic communications, supporting clients in travel, lifestyle, hospitality, and culinary industries. Responsibilities include day-to-day account management, media relations, research, writing, and project coordination, collaborating with senior team members on integrated campaigns and media placements. The ideal candidate is organized, detail-oriented, and eager to develop communications and client service skills in a fast-paced agency.
Responsibilities
- Implement strategy and campaign planning for multiple high-profile accounts
- Pitch and place media stories across local, regional, and national outlets
- Write and edit persuasive external and internal documents, including press releases, op-eds, fact sheets, talking points, editorial board memos, and communications plans
- Oversee day-to-day client communications, including staffing weekly calls, developing press recaps, and participating in crisis communications
- Manage work streams across multiple accounts in the arts and culture sector
Requirements
- Internship or other relevant experience in strategic communications
- Interest in PR within the travel and hospitality space
Skills
- Clear and effective oral and written communication
- Attention to detail
- Ability to handle multiple assignments, work quickly, and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment
