About the Role

TM Bus seeks experienced, dependable, and safety-conscious School Bus Drivers for safe and timely student transportation, maintaining high professionalism and customer service. The role requires a CDL with P and S endorsements, a strong safety record, and positive interaction with students, parents, and school personnel.

Responsibilities

• Safely transport students to and from school and designated bus stops.
• Follow established routes, schedules, and GPS directions.
• Conduct pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections and complete required reports.
• Ensure compliance with all federal, state, and local traffic laws and school transportation regulations.
• Maintain a clean and professional bus environment.
• Assist students with boarding and exiting the bus safely.
• Communicate effectively with dispatch, school staff, parents, and students.
• Report accidents, incidents, mechanical concerns, or delays promptly.
• Maintain accurate route and student information.
• Provide exceptional customer service while maintaining professionalism at all times.

Requirements

• Must be authorized to work in the United States.
• Must maintain compliance with all DOT, DMV, and company requirements.
• Must demonstrate a commitment to safety and customer service.
• Valid CDL Class B (or higher) with Passenger (P) and School Bus (S) Endorsements.
• Current Medical Examiner's Certificate.
• Clean driving record with no recent accidents or major traffic violations.
• Ability to pass DOT drug and alcohol testing and background checks.
• Excellent attendance and punctuality.
• Ability to remain calm and professional in stressful situations.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

Skills

• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Familiarity with GPS navigation and route management.
