About the Role

This role supports the daily operations of the Human Resources department, performing administrative and HR-related tasks including onboarding/offboarding, digital enhancements, employee record-keeping, benefits administration, and general employee support. The ideal candidate is organized, detail-oriented, and understands HR best practices and employment legislation.

Responsibilities

  • Support onboarding and offboarding processes, including documentation, orientations, and HRIS updates.
  • Maintain accurate and confidential employee records, ensuring compliance with privacy laws.
  • Support benefits administration, including enrollment, changes, leave management, and employee inquiries.
  • Input, initiate, and finalize employee record updates in Workday (HRIS).
  • Support payroll processing, including timely submission of data changes.
  • Support digital enhancements of HR systems, processes, and procedures.
  • Provide administrative support to the HR team, including report preparation, correspondence, and event organization.
  • Respond to employee inquiries regarding HR policies, procedures, and programs.
  • Ensure compliance with labor laws, occupational health and safety regulations, and internal policies.
  • Participate in employee engagement initiatives and diversity and inclusion efforts.
  • Assist in HR process audits and compliance checks.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field.
  • Minimum 1 year of experience in HR or administrative support roles.
  • Knowledge of HR processes, employment laws, and best practices.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and HRIS systems.

  • $42,500 to $71,000 base salary
