About the Role
Dimensional seeks a Full Stack Software Engineer to translate customer goals into working software across the entire stack, from automated configurations to model definitions, calculation APIs, and intuitive user interfaces. Key qualifications include a passion for quality software and enthusiasm for learning new technologies and approaches.
Responsibilities
- Understand user needs and solve problems across the full stack, from infrastructure automation and ETL calculation engines to user-friendly web applications.
- Collaborate with subject matter experts to drive client success.
- Participate in software architecture and design.
- Develop software solutions using back-end and/or front-end technologies.
- Apply software engineering best practices and participate in code reviews.
- Develop configurations and automations for testing, infrastructure, and deployments.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in a technical field or equivalent practical experience.
- 5+ years of software development experience in a professional and/or academic setting.
- Experience with Python, Ruby, JavaScript, or equivalent dynamic languages.
- Experience with C#, Java, C/C++, Typescript, or equivalent static languages.
- Experience with data engineering, web/mobile application development, or systems/security software development.
- Interest and ability to learn other coding languages as needed.
- Ability to write in English fluently and idiomatically.
- Advanced degree or equivalent experience in engineering, computer science or other related technical field (preferred).
- Experience with agile/scrum methodologies (preferred).
- Financial services industry experience (preferred).
