About the Role

Support bartenders and maintain a well-stocked, organized bar to ensure smooth operations. This role requires strong organizational skills, physical capability, and a proactive attitude.

Responsibilities

• Enhance guest experience by anticipating needs and maintaining high service levels.
• Welcome and interact with guests in a friendly and sincere manner.
• Manage difficult guest situations with tact and patience to ensure satisfaction.
• Safely change beer kegs, CO2 tanks, and soda dispensers.
• Wash and sanitize glassware according to health and sanitation standards.
• Maintain accurate bar inventory and security records.
• Identify guest intoxication signs, manage service responsibly, and consult management on concerns.
• Provide knowledgeable responses to menu and bar offering inquiries.
• Adhere to operational service steps and follow dietary/allergy procedures.
• Comply with health and safety guidelines, complete required training (e.g., alcohol awareness), and follow company policies.
• Collaborate with bar and staff to foster a positive working environment.
• Perform additional duties to support efficient bar operation.

Requirements

• Experience stocking and replenishing bar supplies (alcohol, glassware, ice).
• Ability to prepare and organize beverage components (mixes, garnishes).
• Flexibility to work various shifts, including nights, weekends, and holidays.
• Capable of safely and efficiently transporting heavy items (glass racks, beverage cases).
• Comfortable with liquid exposure and proficient in using bar equipment (knives, blenders).
• Excellent communication skills to understand and execute instructions.
• Strong multitasking skills, remaining composed and efficient in fast-paced, stressful environments.
• Physical ability to work in confined spaces, lift up to 50 pounds, stand/walk for extended periods, and navigate tripping hazards.
