About the Role
Lead and optimize Medcan's Live Well Programs, overseeing nursing and non-nursing teams within the Client Care Centre. Ensure exceptional client care, operational efficiency, and compliance with regulatory standards.
Responsibilities
- Lead day-to-day operations and team performance
- Monitor workload and performance volumes to identify gaps and optimize operations
- Prioritize decisions based on client care needs and safety, ensuring workflows align with policies, procedures, and regulatory standards
- Collaborate with Talent Acquisition for recruitment, onboarding, and orientation of new staff
- Conduct performance reviews, coach team members, and manage performance issues in collaboration with Human Resources
- Foster a collaborative, high-performing team culture
- Handle client escalations and support staff in challenging situations
- Partner with clinical leaders and product teams to launch new programs
- Promote evidence-based practice and maintain nursing competency standards
- Address safety concerns promptly and escalate serious incidents
Requirements
- Degree in Healthcare and/or equivalent experience in the industry
- 2–5 years leadership/management in healthcare or relevant industry
- Masters in Health Administration or BScN considered an asset
