About the Role
Responsible for identifying and closing significant business opportunities for Precision Bioservices in assigned areas or regions.
Responsibilities
- Identify opportunities for Bioservices products and services, emphasizing biobanking, sample preparation, and specialty lab services.
- Develop and enhance client relationships.
- Establish strong working relationships with Marketing, Technical Support, Customer Support, and Production.
- Qualify leads.
- Write proposals, consulting with internal Bioservices experts as appropriate.
- Develop project budgets and pricing, utilizing in-house resources for accuracy.
- Close new business and expand existing business relationships.
- Attend conferences, trade shows, and meetings as required.
- Maintain contacts and opportunities using SalesForce.com.
- Perform other responsibilities as assigned.
Requirements
- Team player willing to collaborate and share knowledge.
- Ability to work independently, manage time, and create plans to achieve personal goals.
- Ability to think creatively and strategically, and act tactically in a dynamic environment.
- Track record of successively increasing levels of responsibility.
- Proven track record of successful client relationship management and business development in pharmaceutical, biotech, or CRO organizations, with success in sales of biobanking, sample preparation services, and specialty lab services.
- Self-directed and self-motivated to work at a highly technical level.
- Willingness to travel up to 35%.
- Possess a valid driver’s license for applicable states.
- Ability to travel both domestically and internationally, including overnight stays.

- 5 years of related sales experience with a Bachelor’s Degree.
- 2 years of related sales experience with a Master’s Degree.
- 0-1 years of related sales experience with a PhD.
- 10 years of related sales experience (preferred).
Education Level
- Bachelor’s Degree.
- Master’s Degree.
- PhD.
- Academic concentration in life sciences or related field (preferred).
- Masters or Ph.D. in Life Sciences, Molecular Biology, or Biochemistry (preferred).
Salary/Compensations
- $162,000 - $243,000 USD
