About the Role

The RV Detailer is responsible for the comprehensive cleaning of motor homes, travel trailers, fifth wheels, and other recreational vehicles upon arrival to our store, and prior to customer delivery.

Responsibilities

• Thoroughly wash unit exteriors, including awnings, wheels, fiberglass, metal, and roofs, using various cleaning solutions.
• Meticulously clean unit interiors, including floors, furniture, upholstery, appliances, hard surfaces, cupboard doors, floor vents, ceilings, and window vent screens, using vacuum and related equipment.
• Apply revitalizers to vinyl or leather surfaces and treat fabrics with spot/stain resistant chemicals to preserve interior components.
• Evaluate RVs for detailing services and communicate recommendations with supporting media to the Service Advisor team.
• Maintain appropriate cleaning supply levels and use them efficiently and safely to prevent waste and damage.
• Report malfunctioning RV equipment or gear to management.
• Assist with general facility cleaning, including sweeping, mopping, and trash removal.

Requirements

• High school diploma
• Previous cleaning experience helpful, but not required
• Flexibility to work in various Alpin Haus locations
• Ability to use hands for grasping, pushing, pulling, climbing, crouching, and reaching.
• Ability to use ladders and scaffolding for cleaning hard-to-reach areas.
• Ability to lift up to 30 pounds occasionally and up to 10 pounds frequently.
