About the Role
The Terminal Operator safely operates all equipment at the location used to load and unload boats and/or trucks, ensuring order accuracy and expeditious processing of requests.
Responsibilities
- Maintain grounds, offices, warehouse, and yard.
- Load and unload bulk and bagged material via rail, waterway, and road transportation.
- Operate truck loading equipment.
- Operate and perform general maintenance on mobile equipment.
- Sample product from trucks and barges.
- Maintain accurate maintenance records for terminal equipment.
- Perform clerical functions for recording receipts, shipments, and inventory.
- Adhere to health, safety, and environmental policies.
- Perform other assigned duties.
Requirements
- Ability to complete paperwork.
- Adhere to all safety protocols and proper use of Personal Protection Equipment (PPE), including respirators.
