About the Role

The R&I team empowers the business with a deep understanding of live music fans. This role supports the research needs of the business, combining a passion for live music with expertise in research methodologies, data analysis, and storytelling. The manager will gather, analyze, and synthesize research to enhance the live event experience and deliver actionable insights for audience connection.

Responsibilities

  • Support embedding data and insights across the organization.
  • Translate research and data into clear, actionable insights using internal sources, third-party tools, and thought leadership research.
  • Design and manage primary and secondary research projects, including survey design and execution.
  • Analyze and synthesize data to create compelling narratives about fans, live music, and brand opportunities.
  • Build and manage relationships with external research vendors.

Requirements

  • Proven experience in market research and/or consumer insights (client or agency side).
  • Strong knowledge of both qualitative and quantitative methodologies, including end-to-end project experience.
  • Experience across a variety of research methodologies and data sets.
  • Experience in both B2B and B2C research (preferred).
  • Background in multiple industries (preferred).

Skills

  • Skilled at turning data and metrics into meaningful narratives.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication.
  • Strong analytical mindset and attention to detail.
  • Commercially minded, with the ability to link insights to business goals.
  • Proficiency in Q, SPSS, DisplayR, or equivalent.
  • Proficiency in social listening platforms.
  • Proficiency in data visualization tools for dashboarding and reporting (preferred).
