About the Role
Develop tailored AI solutions for public sector clients, translating requirements into scalable GenAI and LLM applications to automate and enhance administrative processes. Work in a young, strong engineering team with a hands-on, remote-first culture, shared decision-making, and responsibility for built solutions. Actively shape technology, collaboration, and practical solutions.
Responsibilities
- Develop GenAI and LLM solutions to automate complex administrative and testing processes (e.g., with Neo4j, LangGraph Agents, RAG approaches, or FastAPI).
- Work hands-on across the entire software lifecycle, from requirements analysis to productive implementation for clients or on the AI platform.
- Develop and operate scalable backend services for AI applications and integrate them into existing system landscapes.
- Collaborate closely with interdisciplinary teams (Engineering, Business Analysts, Project Management, Security, Operations, Quality Assurance) and engage directly with clients.
- Actively contribute to the development of AI services, architectures, and best practices.
Requirements
- Relevant degree or comparable qualification (e.g., vocational training or practical experience).
- At least 1 year of practical experience in AI application development with productive responsibility, ideally in a service context.
- Excellent Python skills and experience in developing AI and backend systems.
- Solid software engineering knowledge (e.g., architecture, testing, scalability).
- Experience building and/or operating AI systems in production environments.
- Experience with agile development processes.
- Openness to diverse project contexts and collaboration with various stakeholders.
- Advantageous: Experience with software architectures and DevOps tools (e.g., Docker, Kubernetes).
- Excellent German and good English language skills.
