About the Role
As a working student in IT Security & ISMS, you will comprehensively support our Information Security Officer in firmly embedding information security and compliance into our processes. Your operational and administrative tasks will cover the entire spectrum of security management, from policy and KPI maintenance to risk analyses, audits, and cyber security awareness for our teams.
Responsibilities
- Actively maintain and develop the Information Security Management System (ISMS) according to ISO 27001 or BSI IT-Grundschutz.
- Collaborate on creating, maintaining, and documenting security concepts, policies, and process flows.
- Conduct risk analyses, identify protection needs, and manage assets with team support.
- Monitor IT security measures and relevant key figures (e.g., patch management, access controls).
- Contribute to internal audits and structured processing and documentation of security incidents through post-mortem analyses.
- Conduct independent research on current cyber security threats, vulnerabilities, and technological best practices.
- Assist in preparing management reviews for the executive board and co-design training and awareness measures for teams.
Requirements
- Basic understanding of IT architectures, networks, and security concepts is beneficial.
- Experience with Confluence is ideal.
- Basic knowledge of programming languages is ideal.

- Ability to translate complex legal texts and standards into technical requirements.
